North Devon AONB Half Marathon 2011
26 June 2011
THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL. ENTRIES ARE NOW CLOSED.
Centred around three of the most idyllic beaches in North Devon, this spectacular and challenging half marathon gives runners the opportunity to compete in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The route is challenging, with over 1,300 feet of climbing and a wide selection of terrains underfoot, so will certainly test your resolve!
In true Devon style, runners will be given a delicious cream tea when they finish (water will be available as well!) and the real beauty is that the start and finish points are right by Woolacombe beach, so the whole family can enjoy this 3-mile stretch of sand whilst you are out running - a perfect day out for everyone! Don't forget your picnic and your bathers!
Entry fee - £30.00 Maximum of 350 places (first come first served)
Minimum age - 18 years on the day of the race
The Fell Runners Association Rules for Competition shall apply to this event
No entries on the day
No refunds

Refreshments: Water will be provided at all manned checkpoints and all competitors have a complimentary Devonshire Cream Tea when they finish. Food will be available at the finish and we recommend our main sponsor, The Red Barn!
