Purbeck Runners are proud to be hosting the Purbeck 10K on Friday 22nd June, 7:30pm. The picturesque rural undulating course takes in stunning views of Corfe Castle and surrounding heathland. With no big hills, PB’s are frequently recorded year on year.
All proceeds from the race go to a chosen charity, with Julia’s House receiving £3000 in 2017. For 2018, our chosen charity is Cancer Research UK
Keep up to date on latest news before the event by by liking our facebook page. Full race information will be e-mailed to entrants in early June, about two weeks before the event.

Runners must be 15 years or older on race day. Unfortunately the course is not suitable for wheelchairs, dogs or buggies. Accompanying cyclists are not permitted.
All finishers will receive a race memento. Prizes will be awarded to first 3 male and female winners, and all age category winners.
We allow race transfers via Full On Sport up to 5pm on Tuesday 19th June.
The race has been selected as part of the 2018 Dorset County Championships. To be eligible for the County Championships, you must either:
- Be born in Dorset
- Have nine months continuous residence in Dorset immediately prior to the date of the race.
- Have nine months service in HM Forces stationed in Dorset immediately prior to the date of the race.
Please note - No athlete is allowed to compete in the Championships of more than one County in any one nine month period.
Race HQ is at located Norden Park & Ride, Corfe Castle. BH20 5DW.
There will be plenty of free parking a 2 minute walk from race village. Our race village includes a BBQ and Bar, which should help refresh you after the race!
The race is fully chipped timed and results will be able to be viewed live on the results screen at Race HQ.
The wearing of headphones, or similar devices, is not permitted .
The event is accurately measured (SEAA Course Measurement Certificate Number 12/031) and licenced by UK Athletics (2018-35236), with your results uploaded to Run Britain and Power of 10.

By entering the race you agree to the following statement:
I understand and agree that the organisers shall not be liable for any accidents, injury, loss or damage resulting from my participation in the Purbeck 10k. I declare that I am an Amateur and that I am medically fit to participate. I will be 15 years or over on 22nd June 2018. I agree to abide by the UKA Rules for Competition. I also understand that event officials reserve the right to delay, cancel, or suspend the race due to circumstances that would make it impractical and/or unsafe to stage the event, and that in such circumstance no refund will be given. I further understand that no refund will be given if I am unable to compete due to illness or injury.
