Queensgate extends a very warm welcome to you all.
If you have run with us before, then you know the ropes.
If it's you're first time with us, then come sign up, it's a great run and we don't just say that.

This is our 6th annual fun run which is increasing in popularity year after year! Last year we were overwhelmed by our 155 entries, almost doubling our total for 2015. All monies raised will be given to the Queensgate PTFA, who are saving up to contribute to a new outdoor learning environment for the children of Queensgate Foundation Primary School.
Our run is made up of 2 runs, a 10 mile, for those who like a bit more of challenge and a 5KM run for those who just want to stretch their legs.
Both runs start and finish at Queensgate Primary School, which is located on Beatrice Avenue, in East Cowes. (PO326PA)
On arrival, you will be warmly welcomed in the Sports Hall, where you will be required to register/sign in and will be briefed on the runs.
The shorter 5KM route takes you in and around the local roads, with a short distance having a slight incline.
The 10 mile route takes you out on the roads for a short distance, before you enter the grounds of the beautiful and historic Queen Victoria's Osborne House and further through the Barton Manor Estate. (We are extremely fortunate and privileged to have permission to run through the estates and as such, request you all observe the code of conduct) (Drinks) having left the estate, you are again on public roads. The route takes you down through Brock's Copse and up into Palmers Road (Drinks) where you leave the road and take to the tracks down towards Little Canada, where once again you join the public highway and return uphill through the estate towards Palmers Road (Drinks) and back through Brock's Copse. Then follow Alverstone Road (Drinks) towards the Forge and crossing the road and onwards to Whippingham Church, which brings you onto the homeward stretch along Beatrice Avenue to the school and finish...
Having crossed the line you will be presented with your medal and invited back into school to take full advantage of complimentary hot and cold beverages and some lovely homemade cakes. You can then relax and relive the run with fellow runners!!!
Please enter below for either the 10 miles at £15 or the 5km at £8.
Please note!! --- on the day entry will be, £20 for the 10 Miles and £10 for the 5km.
