The 5K starts at 10.50 am and there are 300 places. Runners must be aged 11 or over on the day of the race. Entry costs £10 (£8 for affiliated club members). All those who complete the course will receive a medal.
Proceeds from the race go towards John Keble Primary School, Hursley Village Community Projects, Hursley Scouts Group and Shepherds Down School. The funds raised last year from the 10k paid for the upgrade of the wonderful outdoor play area at the school. Without your continued support of this unique event our school would be considerably less well equipped. Fundraising over the years have paid not only for this outdoor play equipment, but also helped towards new netball & football team kits, a PA system, staging and lighting for school performances, new library furniture and classroom computers.
There will be a BBQ, refreshments, bouncy castle & face-painting
Please be aware that we have limited access to the field by the start line this year as this field has been fenced off. Please use the carpark & school area as the main gathering point and you will be asked to move forward to the start line from here. Please use the school playing fields as a warm up area.

IBM kindly allows us to use their car parks. On the day you will be guided to a parking space.

Can I bring my dog?
We do allow dogs as long as they are kept on a lead at all times but they are not allowed on the course or on the school playing fields, including the Fun Run.

We provide Portaloos at the start. There are no toilet facilities on the course.

We don’t provide seating but you are welcome to bring along your own.

We are planning to provide a babysitting facility close to the start organised by the local nursery Making Miracles. If you wish to book a place please contact us at organiser@hursley10k.co.uk as we cannot guarantee you a place on the day.
Will there be water tables throughout the course?
Water tables are provided at various kilometre markers throughout the course.
