Race Start Time: 10am

New for this year – We will be using chip timing to ensure each runner has an accurate record of their run. Each runner will also receive a technical t-shirt as part of their entry, please ensure you select the correct size when entering.

Course info: A fast and flat 10Km road race around the town of Selsey, taking in parts of the famous Bunn Leisure caravan site and the sea front, starting and finishing at The Academy Selsey, Secondary School. Accurately measured course and an ideal opportunity to gain a PB.

There will be a water station at approx. 5km, and you will be provided with water at the finish line.

The start will take place on the road approx. 150m from the school. You will be able to line up in the road from 9:50am for a briefing at 9:55am and a prompt 10am start.

Facilities:

We are fortunate enough to have the use of The Academy, Selsey’s sports hall, which is large enough to cater for 500+ runners before and after the race. There will be plenty of toilets both within the sports hall (this includes changing areas) and a number of portaloos outside, these will be signposted.

Tea, coffee and refreshments will be supplied by JDRF who are raising funds for their charity. They will be selling bottles of water and energy drinks, should you have forgotten yours.

Parking:

Limited onsite parking will be available, with approx 150 spaces, please follow signs and Marshal directions upon your arrival.

There are numerous public car parks within walking distance of the Race HQ, but please car share where possible. Please see Chichester District Council’s website for more details on these, you can do so by clicking HERE.

There are also several residential roads in the surrounding area, which are free to park on. Please do not park on the road near the start and please follow any instructions given to you by a race marshal. Please arrive early to ensure you are parked in good time.

Entries on the day will be subject to a £1 supplement, and subject to whether the entry limit has been reached.

Closing date for Postal and Online Entries will be 12th March 2015 (unless the entry limit is reached beforehand, please check our website)

All race numbers will need to be collected on the day of the race. This will be in the Race HQ from 8:00am until 9:50am.
Upon collection of your race number, you will also receive your timing chip, commemorative t-shirt and a baggage label with your race number on it. If you wish to use our baggage area, please place the label on your bag and take it to the baggage point within the sports hall, a marshal will be there to guide you.

We will not be posting them out to you.
