Littledown 5
13 September 2015
The Littledown 5 always attracts a strong field from local running clubs and this year was no exception. The 5 mile distance is also an excellent test for beginners and those stepping up from the local parkruns. It was a perfect 'weather day' for running, and marshalling, with runners basking in the sunshine after the race. Well done to everyone who made the day a great success.
2014 race winner was Jacek Cieluszecki (26:01) from BAC closely followed in by Joshua Cole (26:04) BAC with last year’s winner Ian Harding from Morpeth Harriers taking 3rd place (26:22). Jon Sharkey made up the men’s winning BAC team.
The 2014 women’s race was won by Emma Dews (30:07) BAC with Lin Lascelles (31:04) Maiden Newton Runners 2nd and 3rd place going to Becky Griffith (31:42) Poole Runners. Sarah Chaloner, Lesley Moore and Louella O'Herlihy of Poole AC won the women’s team prize.
