Route. This fantastic race follows an undulating open-road route around Ammanford and the surrounding area, starting and finishing at Ammanford Rugby Club.

Car Parking.  Car parking is available in several locations. Please see the map below for direction on where to park (Green Areas). If you are approaching from the M4 please park in the carpark off Pen Y Banc road, to the south of the Rugby Club. Car parking signs will be in place. *Please do not park on the roads leading to the rugby club as this may affect the 10k route.

Race Registration.  Race HQ will be situated in Ammanford Rugby Club.  Race numbers can be collected inside the club (downstairs) between 8.30am and 9:30am. If the weather is good, it’ll be outside. On the day entry will be available on a first come first serve basis. Race capacity is 300.

Medals.  All runners who entered online will receive a bespoke medal. There are a small number of medals remaining which will be given on a first come first serve basis to on-the-day entrants.

The Start.  The race will start at 10:00am. A safety brief will be given at 9:55am.  Please ensure that you attend this brief – the race will start immediately after.

Water. A water station will be situated at the 5km point. In the event of hot weather, an additional water station will be provided. Bottles of water will also be available at the finish.  

Safety. Please adhere to any directions given by the marshals. To comply with UKA rules headphones are not permitted due to the race being run on open roads. Bone conducting headphones are allowed.

Toilets, Showers & Changing.  Toilets, showers and changing facilities are available in the building adjacent to the Rugby Club from 8:30am until 1.30pm. A limited number of toilets are available inside the Rugby Club. 

Refreshments. Drinks and refreshments will be available in the Rugby Club before and after the race. There will also be a Gazebo with Burgers / Bacon rolls etc.…

Prize Giving.  Prize giving will take place as soon as the last runners is in – but no later than 1200
