Berkhamsted Rotary Half Marathon 2023
05 March 2023
REGISTRATION IS OPEN
The Half Marathon
The Berkhamsted Half Marathon, which tracks through very attractive Chilterns countryside, is an ideally timed event for runners coming back to competitive running after winter training (or hibernation), as well as an ideal opportunity for those who have taken up running to increase their fitness and enjoyment of sport. Our 2023 event will be the 40th year. The Half Marathon is often used as a serious "marker" for those training for the full marathon distance of the London Marathon and other national events, and we welcome entries from everybody with a passion or enthusiasm for running.
Full Information and Rules are shown at www.berkorun.com.
The Organisers
The event is promoted by the Rotary Club of Berkhamsted who aim to organise a successful and challenging Half Marathon event, together with an interesting 5 mile fun run. Over the years this Rotary event has directly raised more than £250,000 for various charities. The start is at Berkhamsted Cricket Club which is close to Berkhamsted Railway Station.
Race Information
Your entry helps Rotary raise funds for many local charities, including two care organisations, the Pepper Foundation and the Hospice of St Francis. We also welcome individuals or teams running to raise funds independently for their own nominated charitable causes.
There will be prizes for outstanding individual and team runners in the Half Marathon.
We will be awarding everyone who completes the Half Marathon race one of our bespoke medals and T-shirts, so don't miss adding it to your collection. (For Half Marathon finishers, please note that for entries received after January 15 we cannot guarantee the availability of the requested T-shirt size).
