The Marnhull 12k was brought back to life in April of 2016 by a couple of Dorset Doddlers and St Gregory's School PTFA. Now into it's 5th year following it's resurrection it is starting to draw a diverse field of entries. For the first time in 2020 the race will feature on the fixtures list for the Dorset Road Race League as well as being used as a Club Championship Race for the Dorset Doddlers. 

The M12k follows beautiful small lanes around a number of North Dorset villages. It is mildly undulating but with a couple of water stops on route there is time to take a breather. We have dedicated parking, post run snack for all runners and a great village pub for your cheeky Sunday pint.

The 12k is organised under the Association of Running Club rules and has a certificate of course accuracy.  It’s a headphone free race, is limited to 400 entries and for runners over the age of 17.

Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female, with additional first place prizes for

Senior Male 16-40, MV 40, MV50, MV 60, MV70

Senior Female 16-35, FV 35, FV 45, FV 55, FV 65

And 1st Resident prize, runners are unable to win more than one prize (excludes residents prize).

Fastest parent (must have a child currently studying at St Gregory's School)

Parking 200m from school, limited changing facilities, toilets, medical support and free refreshments available for all runners.

There are NO ON THE DAY ENTRIES other than for our fun children’s races. Number collection is in the School Hall between 8.45- 10.15am. Numbers will not be sent in advance.

Chip timing is in use, please note this is reusable so expect a marshal to retrieve the chip from you at the finish line.
