South Somerset Screamer Sportive - 23 April 2017
Join us for the South Somerset Screamer and ride some of the finest roads our County has to offer.
Starting at Seavington Millenium Hall. We will then begin our ride north, heading through South Petherton and out across the Somerset Levels towards Wedmore, and our first feed station giving you an opportunity to refuel before riding through Cheddar itself and hitting the stunning (but lung busting!) climb that is Cheddar Gorge. After winding your way up through the gorge, climbing 370m in the space of 4 miles you are rewarded with stunning views of the Mendips before the exhilarating descent down into Wells. Before heading on to the iconic location of Glastonbury Tor. We will skirt the bottom of the ancient tor before continuing south across the levels to our final stop in the picturesque village of Martock, this is where the Long course splits to take on Ham Hill. Before returning to the start location for hot drinks.
