“Tough Trail Half Marathon in the Beautiful Surrey Hills ”
The course is a hilly and undulating multi-loop cross-country route mainly on tracks around Holmbury Hill. The route crosses itself at some points on the course. The route marking will be with signs and arrows. The course will also be well marshalled at crucial points. There will be 6 self service drinks points along the route and at the finish but you will be encouraged to carry your own water bottle to minimise contact.
This is an open race for anyone aged 17 or over on the day. The Start and race HQ is at the Duke of Kent School, near Peaslake.
Run under ARC licence, First aid support, Medals to all finishers, Well marshalled, car parking at start/finish
– Your running number will be posted at least I week before the event. Registration and start arrangements will be included.
- To minimise overtaking you will be start individually, with those giving the fastest predicted time starting earlier. If you wish to run with someone else please predict the same time.

“Spot on, really impressed from arriving to leaving (especially the bit in between) A smallish event but everything about it was great – it had a local feel about it – in a good way. The course was certainly challenging, hills galore to enjoy / endure. Don’t be put off by the intertwining course – works like clockwork.
