This is a 7 mile race that 1st started in 1946 and also includes a Fun run. There are no on line entries for the Fun run. Please enter on the day.

This year we are celebrating its 70th year. 

Traditionally this Race has always been held on the Easter Bank Holiday but due to road works that have been delayed we will not be able to host this race on the 28th March and are planning to reschedule to the Bank Holiday on 30th May.

Registration takes place at Tiverton Town Football Club, Bolham Road, Tiverton EX16 6SG from 8.45 a.m, but the race starts in Bampton at 10.30. Please make sure you leave enough time to get to Bampton. There is free car parking at the football club and also available are changing facilities and showers.

Entrees on line will need to pick there race numbers on the day in the registration area.

A supervised baggage area is located at the Tiverton Football Club. Each runner will be issued with a bag with their race number on it so that they can wear their tracksuit to the start. A baggage bus will return these bags to the Tiverton Football Club where they will be removed and stored in the baggage area, from where they can be collected after the race.

From Tiverton Football Club you’ll catch a FREE bus to take you to the start in Bampton at the White Horse where the Road Race will being following the nice country roads of Devon with nice views of the Exe valley around you, to Bolham where runners climb the steepest hill of the course and run past the front lodge of Knightshayes Court and across a bridge over the North Devon Link Road. The race finishes in Peoples’ Park, Tiverton which overlooks Tiverton Football club and is above Exe Valley Leisure Centre.

Refreshments are provided for spectators and also for the runners. Presentation of prizes will be in the Football club.

We also give out Team running club prizes but to be included in this you must wear your running club t-shirt/vest.
