The Beast
The Beast is just that, a beast of race. Hosted by Poole AC, this event takes in some of the most spectacular views of Dorset (well in our humble opinion), the 13(ish) mile ‘undulating’ course starts on Corfe Castle Common before heading out towards Worth Matravers and then on to the coastal path with great views of the coast! The course then heads back towards Corfe with only a few ‘minor’ hills to get up. There are 4 water stations on the course and cups are provided if you do not have your own.
This historic race is part of the Purbeck Trail Series
THE MINIMUM ENTRY AGE IS 17.
WE REGRET NO DOGS OR BUGGIES WILL BE PERMITTED.
We also regret that the course is unsuitable for wheelchairs.
History
We have our dedicated followers, with some runners doing more than 20 of the races and 2 volunteers attending every single event, not to mention the year that by invitation 2 runners did the race a week late and still got a T-shirt!

Starts at 10am.
Number collection
All numbers to be collected on the day from 9.00am.
Closing date
Entries close on 31st July 2024. There will be an additional transfer window until 18th August 2024 - any transfers will have an admin fee of £2.
Entries
All entries have an additional small charge to cover the FullOnSport booking fee.
No entries are permitted on the day.
Cut off time
This is a tough but enjoyable race. Cut off time is 3 hours 30 mins

Trophies for most categories and a unique t-shirt to every finisher.
