BHAM! Runners is free a community driven, for runners by runners, running club, set up with the intention of promoting and supporting runners (or want to be runners), who live in Bower Hinton, Ash & Martock and the surrounding villages in Somerset, UK.

We don’t charge for sessions or membership fees, and everything we do is for the joy of running rather than making a few quid from other runners.

We love parkrun, muddy trails, lung busting hills, meeting new runners, shopping for another pair of running shoes and getting outside in all weathers!

So whether new to running and looking for help and support in getting from the couch to a 5k, experienced runners looking for a running partner to explore the nearby trails, looking for some friends to go to parkrun with, or just looking for a social group to enjoy a steady plod around the streets or trails and then eat cake or have a pint with…. we’ve got you covered!!

We are supported by the Somerset Activity & Sports Parnership (SASP) and we are an ARC Affiliated Club, and a registered RunTogether Group with three qualified LiRF (Leader in Running Fitness) who are also qualified First Aiders. And we organise a couch to 5km programme called #zero2hero, various ability group runs, strava leaderboard, 2 races a year including the BHAM Trail 10k and of course some social events.
