Salisbury Fire Station, built in 1964, is Wiltshire Fire Brigade's largest fire station, covering some 125 square miles and with some 80 operational firefighters and staff. Being a large fire station situated in a progressive community, it has been successful in a number of areas of community and charity work, including several sporting events. Many of the events are carried out on behalf of the firefighters own charity 'The Firefighters Charity'.
