Hosted by kids on the run and Gabalfa running group this will be our first official event  which we hope to be the first of many. We will be holding a 2k  distance fancy dress halloween fun run we aim to bring family's together for this friendly fun  themed  event in memory of Tom Davies and  raising money for the teenage cancer trust as there are so many sponsor events these days we ask you to make a donation on the day at registration  this amount is entirely up to you Registration will be available on the day from 7.30am at the race HQ by hailey park tennis court  Entries on the day are available unless the race is full,race numbers will be sent via post unless entry is received 2 weeks before race day The family fun run will start at 10am prompt with no cut off time this will be great for walkers,joggers and fun runners a like The run is open to all ages ,Children under the age of 5 are free but must be accompanied by a full paying adult anyone over the age of  11 years and over may run on there own .Everyone entering will receive a medal at the finish line plus there will prizes for best fancy dress and trophy's for our 1st,2nd male and female runners and 1st family  The route is traffic free and flat  but still open to public so for this event earphones are not permitted,the route follows a circular route which will be well signed  around the beautiful park taking in views of the taff,parking will be available but limited at hailey park and the surrounding roads but be please considerate to residence and car share if possible as this is a fun run event dogs and pushchairs are welcome on the course  if you are bringing a cannine companion please start to the rear of the field  THE COURSE IS WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY WEATHER PERMITTING AND WHEELCHAIRS ARE WELCOME INCLUDING ELECTRIC AND SELF PROPELLED
